With more than 20 years experience in his field and having worked across various tertiary level teaching hospitals in Queensland, ACT and overseas, he brings a broad range of experience in the field of hip and knee arthroplasty, adult reconstructive procedures and orthopaedic trauma surgery.
Dr Dawra also maintains a strong focus on teaching and mentorship through involvement of trainees and junior doctors at the public hospital.
He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
