Mark graduated with an honours degree in medicine in 1999. His initial residency, and then advanced General Surgical training, was through St. Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne. Thereafter, his urology training was in various tertiary centres in Victoria.
Mark aims to provide a tailored, holistic approach to urological care, with a strong focus on individual needs. He is involved with multi-disciplinary cancer care through the Regional Integrated Cancer Care Services. Wangaratta Urology also provides care through on-site urology nurses who work closely with local specialised care providers, such as the prostate cancer nurse and continence services.
Mark has experience with endoscopic treatment of prostate enlargement and kidney stones, as well as open and laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery of the prostate and kidney cancers.
Mark provides a service covering both elective surgery and acute emergencies, such as kidney stones.
