Mr Ton is a consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and member of the Australian Medical Association, Australian Orthopaedic Association, and Vietnamese Australian Medical Association. His clinical focus is in spinal as well as joint surgery.

Mr Ton completed his medical training at Melbourne University in 1991, and his specialist training as an orthopaedic surgeon in 2001. After completing his general surgery, he did post-fellowship training in Toronto before returning to practice in Melbourne.

Currently appointed as a senior surgeon in the spinal trauma team at the Austin and Alfred hospitals, Mr Ton is also a supervisor for the Orthopaedic training program in Victoria and Tasmania. Mr Ton’s private operating is performed at Warringal Private in Heidelberg and Epworth Richmond.

He has an interest in Spinal surgery; Cervical, Thoracic, and Lumbar including trauma, degeneration, tumours, deformities, scoliosis as well as lower limb joint replacement surgery.
