Waverley Private Hospital would like to introduce Mr Anthony Jacobson, orthopaedic surgeon.

Originally from New Zealand, Anthony graduated from the University of Otago and the University of New South Wales, and pursued his interests in orthopaedic surgery in Hobart, NSW, and New Zealand.

Anthony completed a clinical fellowship in hip and knee arthroplasty at Concord Hospital and research at the Prince of Wales Orthopaedic Research Laboratory NSW in 2010 and has since been working as a staff specialist orthopaedic surgeon at Maroondah Hospital, involved in management of trauma, hip and knee arthroplasty and revision surgery, knee arthroscopy and shoulder surgery.

He also supervises regular medical student and registrar tutorials and participates in clinical teaching, as well as weekly X-ray meetings and audits.

Anthony provides a friendly and professional service and combines this with a strong commitment to patient focussed outcomes and satisfaction.
