Dr Lloyd Davis is a Cardiologist with an interest in the interventional treatment of coronary disease and arrhythmias.
Dr Davis graduated from Sydney University in 1982 and then did his FRACP training at Westmead Hospital. He completed a PhD in catheter mapping of cardiac arrhythmias under the tutelage of David Ross and subsequently spent time at Washington University Medical Centre St. Louis doing postdoctoral research with Eric Beyer on the microscopic basis for cardiac arrhythmias. He has published a large number of articles in specialty journals and helped develop the HALO catheter for mapping the tricuspid annulus.
Dr Davis is a senior cardiologist at Westmead, Westmead Private and Blacktown Hospitals with an interest in radiofrequency ablation of arrhythmias particularly AF and VT, cardiac pacing and percutaneous intervention for the treatment of angina and is actively involved in the acute interventional treatment of myocardial infarction in the Sydney West Area Health Service.
