Dr Kylie King is a haematologist who cares for patients with both malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions (general haematology). She has an interest in malignant haematology and her passion for holistic patient care led her to also formally train in palliative care. She has completed fellowship training in haematology, pathology and palliative medicine and holds a dual fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australia.
Dr King graduated in medicine from The University of New South Wales. After completing general residency training in Wollongong, she undertook physician training at Prince of Wales Hospital, followed by training in haematology and palliative medicine at St Vincent’s Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital, St George and Wollongong Hospital.
Dr King has experience in malignant haematology and bone marrow transplantation, non-malignant haematology and laboratory haematology. She is also a staff specialist haematologist at Wollongong Hospital and is an active member of the Lymphoma MDT meeting. She is also a member of the ALLG (Australasian Leukemia and Lymphoma Group).
