Ramsay Health Care Triathlon Pink

Australia have taken part in the Ramsay Health
Care Triathlon Pink series for 2018/19.
Nearly 4,000 women and their families across Australia have
taken part in the Ramsay Health Care Triathlon Pink series
for 2018/19.
The season, which included six fun events in Sydney, Brisbane,
Perth, Melbourne, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, raised more
than $81,500 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Melbourne topped the list for the highest number of entrants,
with 826 participants signing up to complete one of the
triathlon events or the fun run.
This series marked the 12th anniversary of the Ramsay Health
Care’s involvement in the Triathlon Pink event. More than
64,000 athletes have taken part in the experience since its
inception in 2007.
The main focus is the charity aspect of each series and so
far, more than $2.19 million dollars has been raised for breast
cancer charities.
The latest series ran from October 2018 until March 2019. Each
event is becoming more popular, with regular news about
Triathlon Pink now reaching about 44,000 people.
While the latest Triathlon Pink has only just wrapped up,
planning is already underway for the next series which kicks off
later this year.
