12 TRW WINTER 2013 South Sydney Rabbitohs, Greg Inglis and Andrew Everingham, delighted staff and patients when they dropped in to Cairns Private Hospital recently following their NRL match against the Titans in Cairns. They were joined by famous Rabbitoh mascot Charlie Gallico known as Reggi Rabbit who has been the mascot for South Sydney for the past 12 years. Two new additions to the 2013/2014 Ramsay Health Care Triathlon Pink Series calendar in Adelaide & Parramatta. Cairns Private CEO Steve Rajcany said the players were charming and spent about an hour visiting patients and signing autographs for staff throughout the hospital. The Rabbitohs have decided to hold one game per year in Cairns and over 16,000 attended the first game at Barlow Park. The Sharks visit was combined with Kareena’s annual Wellness Expo - part of the Wellness Program for all staff. The Wellness Program at Kareena Hospital aims to support staff health, personal development and community contribution through a range of activities and initiatives. Kareena Hospital hosted a healthy BBQ lunch for all staff with the opportunity to speak with representatives from various local wellness organisations.
