Speak Up! Program platform

The Ramsay Australia Speak Up Program is about professional, respectful conversations that prioritise teamwork and patient safety. It’s not about who is right, it’s about what is right.

If you are a Ramsay employee or doctor who has observed a safety concern or a safety win, Speak Up! in the moment.

If that is not possible for some reason, or if you have used the PACE model (Probe, Alert, Challenge and Emergency) but it was not effective or not heard, Speak Up! later, here.

You can also enter safety wins where PACE worked, things have gone well or where staff need to be congratulated for great work.

The smallest action can have big consequences. Together, we can catch mistakes before they happen and celebrate the great things happening in safety each day.

Please note

1. If this matter still requires escalation, please raise your concerns directly with your line manager and/or senior management in accordance with your local escalation pathway.
2. If you are making an observation about unsafe or disruptive behaviour that is also a Clinical Incident, please follow the link to Riskman here.
3. Do not enter details about Speak Up observations into Riskman as this threatens the confidentiality of reports.
