About

We all understand that life can sometimes feel a little tangled up. I can help you understand your symptoms and find clarity. Remembering every journey begins with just one step. My approach to mental health care is comprehensive, integrating both practical experience and academic research.

My goal is to foster a non-judgmental, welcoming environment that promotes positive change through high-quality care. I have experience delivering customised clinical programs, assessments, and counselling for individuals across all age groups and in diverse settings. I have also worked in peri-operative anxiety management, offering pre-operative assessments and providing support to patients undergoing surgery, both in inpatient facilities and during their recovery on the wards.

During my time living in remote mining towns, I led community mental health awareness initiatives to reduce stigma and enhance resilience. Additionally, I facilitated support groups for both residential and FIFO workers, gaining valuable insights into their unique mental health challenges.

My approach to mental health care is comprehensive, integrating both practical experience and academic research. By combining clinical expertise with evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT), Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioural therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT). I deliver customised and effective interventions to individuals facing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges, particularly trauma, PTSD, and personality disorders.

With over 15 years of experience as a Clinical Psychologist, I have had the privilege of working within the government system, private inpatient units and in private practice. My commitment to mental health advocacy and delivering exceptional clinical services is central to my work, particularly focusing on adolescents and adult clients. I also have extensive experience servicing the Veteran community, and I am a registered provider for Queensland Police Services (QPS).

I hold a Master of Clinical Psychology and am a member of the Australian Clinical Psychologist Association (ACPA), The Australasian Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ASTSS). She is also a Board Approved Supervisor.
