A/Prof David Pryor

Dr David Pryor has interests in urological, gastrointestinal, thoracic, skin and soft tissue tumours (sarcomas) and the use of highly focused stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) and palliative radiotherapy.

Dr Pryor practises at Icon Cancer Centre and is actively involved in education, research and innovation through his roles as the director of radiation oncology training at the PAH, adjunct associate professor at the Australian Prostate Cancer Research Centre-Queensland, senior lecturer with the University of Queensland, chair of the Genitourinary Committee of the Trans-Tasman Radiation Oncology Group (TROG), chair of the QLD steering committee for the Prostate Cancer Outcomes Registry (PCOR-ANZ) and as a member of the scientific advisory committee of the Australian Sarcoma Study Group.

He is the national chair of a study evaluating the role of SBRT in oligometastatic prostate, breast and lung cancers and is part of the trial management group for a number of other collaborative trials in prostate, bladder, kidney, gastrointestinal and soft tissue tumours.
