A/Prof Mauro Vicaretti

A/Prof Mauro Vicaretti has qualified through the RACS in General Surgery (1999) and Vascular Surgery (2001). He specialises in all aspects of the diagnosis and treatment of vascular surgery, arterial, venous and lymphatic.

A/Prof Vicaretti has an interest in endovascular therapies for arterial occlusive and aneurysmal disease and a particular interest in the management of the diabetic foot. His interests also extend to thromboembolic disease and vascular surgical education.

A/Prof Vicaretti is involved in the vascular biology laboratory at Westmead Hospital. He is presently the Head of Vascular Surgery at Westmead Hospital and is an examiner of vascular surgery for the RACS.
