About

Clinical Associate Professor Ling is a Cardiologist who has an interest in the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders. He provides catheter ablation therapies for patients suffering cardiac arrhythmias and has a particular interest in the management of atrial fibrillation. He has a PhD from the University of Melbourne in this field.

 

A/Prof Ling has extensive experience in interventional cardiac electrophysiology gathered from leading Australian and International centres. These include the Alfred Hospital, the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Monash Medical Centre and Europe's largest cardiovascular centre - St Bartholomew's Hospital, London, UK.

 

A/Prof Ling is a medical researcher and PhD supervisor at the University of Melbourne. He was awarded a PhD in cardiac electrophysiology by the University of Melbourne. He is well-published and internationally recognised for his ongoing research on atrial fibrillation and heart failure.

 

A/Prof Ling is a member of the Australian Medical Association, and holds Fellowships with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, the Cardiac Society of Australian and New Zealand and the European Society for Cardiology.
