Assoc Prof Emmanuel Karantanis

A/Prof Karantanis was born in Sydney and has trained in SydnSpecialist ey and London. He is a Fellow of the College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He also completed a PhD and has subspecialty qualifications in Urogynaecology. He is a Conjoint Associate Professor with the University of NSW involved with teaching and research.

 

A/Prof Karantanis practices Obstetrics (caring for women through their pregnancy and childbirth), Gynaecology (managing menstrual disorders, ovarian cysts, fertility and other problems), and has training in urogynaecology (helping women with urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse).

 

A/Prof Karantanis is experienced in evidence-based conservative approaches, minimally invasive and laparoscopic (keyhole) and robotic surgical techniques.
