About

Dr Matthias Jaeger is a dually qualified Neurosurgeon, having trained in both Germany and Australia. He is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and also qualified as a Neurosurgeon in Germany.

Dr Jaeger has a comprehensive neurosurgical practice, covering all aspects of cranial, spinal and peripheral nerve conditions. His specific clinical interests are in management of degenerative lumbar and cervical spinal disease, including complex operations. His specific clinical cranial interests are in the treatment of brain tumours, including base of skull conditions, as well as cerebrovascular disease and hydrocephalus, where he provides innovative diagnostic methods.

Dr Jaeger is fully committed to providing neurosurgical services of the highest standard to the people of the Illawarra and Shoalhaven area.
