Associate Professor Michael Talbot

A/Prof Michael Talbot has been operating as a general surgeon in australia since 2001 and is a pioneer of complex Bariatric Surgery in NSW, in the last decade he had the highest caseload of patients in the state. A/Prof Talbot performed Australasia's first robotic bariatric and oesophageal surgical procedures and has been awarded the Bariatric Surgeon of Excellence accolade as well as Bariatric Centre of Excellence. 

A/Prof Talbot offers the complete range of endoscopic and surgical treatments for neoplasia in the oesophagus and stomach and runs NSW’s longest established High Resolution Oesophageal Diagnostic Lab. A/Prof Talbot is one of very few clinicians in Australia experienced in newly introduced endoscopic therapies to manage early tumours and oesophageal functional disorders.
