About
A/Prof Ford holds pubic and private hospital appointments and is also a co-founder of the Central Coast Heart Attack Service, established in 2019, which provides 24/7 emergency care for heart attack patients across the region.
Academically, A/Prof Ford has published more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific articles focusing on coronary artery disease, angina, and advanced invasive cardiac techniques.
Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, A/Prof Ford emigrated to Australia in 2010 and now lives on the Central Coast with his wife Naomi, their two sons Harry and Angus, and their dog Maisie. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family and is a keen golfer, surfer and runner.
