Dr Taylor has over 10 years of practice in psychiatry with a broad range of experience in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. He has been practicing in Australia as a Consultant Psychiatrist since 2011.

Special interests
Dr Taylor is interested in developing a broad psychiatric practice at Mitcham Private Hospital. He works with patients using a broad bio-psychosocial approach using a range of tailored treatment strategies, including: brief and long term psychotherapy (psychodynamic, supportive and CBT) and
pharmacotherapy.
Dr Taylor is keen to work with general practitioners as well as psychologists and other health practitioners. He will provide psychiatric assessments and ongoing outpatient management as well as conducting comprehensive assessment and management plans for the following and other conditions:
• Mood and Anxiety Disorders
• Interpersonal/personality difficulties
• Bipolar Disorder
• Schizophrenia
• Stress
