About
Dr Fuentes completed FRACS training in General Surgery through the John Hunter Hospital in 2011. He received subspecialty training in Breast Oncologic Surgery at the Westmead Breast Cancer Institute in 2012. He received further training in acute, general and trauma surgery at Liverpool Hospital in 2013.
Erick brings experience in the latest therapeutic and diagnostic tehcniques for the treatment of breast disease.In particular, oncoplastic breast surgery that aims, in a multidisciplinary setting, to remove breast cancer while preserving or reconstructing the natural shape of the breast.
Other skills include diagnostic breast ultrasound and implant based single and two-stage breast reconstruction following mastectomy.
