Clinical Practice
Dr Aaron Anoosh Esmaili is a Perth-based Paediatric and Adult Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgeon committed to delivering comprehensive and patient-centred ENT care to the local community. Dr Esmaili provides private surgical services at Hollywood Private Hospital and maintains consultant public appointments at Fiona Stanley Hospital, Fremantle Hospital and Royal Perth Hospital and SJOG Midland Public. Dr Esmaili speaks both English and Persian (Farsi).
Background and Training
Aaron grew up in Perth and completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy B.Pharm before graduating with honours in Medicine MBBS. During his medical degree he was the highest achieving student across several disciplines—including General Medicine, Paediatrics, Psychology and General Practice—and ranked top overall in his second year. He completed specialist training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and was awarded Fellowship (FRACS). He subsequently worked as a surgeon at Fiona Stanley Hospital within a high-volume head and neck unit, gaining extensive post-fellowship experience in the management of complex head and neck conditions.
In 2024-2025, Dr Esmaili was selected to undertake a prestigious Rhinology and Skull Base Fellowship at the University of Alberta, becoming the first surgeon from Perth to secure a fellowship via the North American Rhinology Society’s highly competitive Match System. During this time, he trained under internationally recognised leaders in the field, gaining advanced expertise in complex rhinology, sinus surgery, anterior skull base procedures, and septorhinoplasty, treating both adult and paediatric patients. He also continued to expand his skills in major head and neck surgery and open skull base approaches through close collaboration with a well-regarded head and neck surgical oncology team.
