Dr Abhisheik Prashar

After completing cardiology training at St George Hospital, Abhi underwent advanced sub-specialty training in coronary and structural heart interventions at prestigious institutions including St George Hospital (Sydney), the Austin Hospital (Melbourne), and King’s College Hospital (London).

Abhi’s clinical focus spans general and interventional cardiology, encompassing chest pain assessment, coronary angioplasty, percutaneous coronary intervention, and advanced coronary calcium modification. He is proficient in intravascular imaging with IVUS and OCT.

He manages patients with valvular heart diseases, employing cutting-edge techniques such as transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) and transcatheter edge-to-edge-repair (TEER) for mitral and tricuspid regurgitation. He is also proficient in patent foramen ovale closure, atrial septal defect and left atrial appendage occlusion.
