DR ABI THEVAKUMAR

Dr. Abi is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who believes in empowering women to make the right choices about their healthcare and feels her role is to support, guide and build trust. Dr. Abi hails from Malaysia. She completed her medical degree in Trinidad (University of the West Indies),and did her O&G training in one of the busiest and diverse hospitals in the UK, before moving to Sydney with her husband. She has a public appointment at the Northern Beaches Hospital and runs a busy private practice in Frenchs Forest. Her broad and varied experience lends to her calm and friendly nature.

Having had challenging pregnancies herself, she truly understands the complexities involved in managing high risk pregnancies. She brings a profound empathy and understanding to women embarking on their unique journeys.
