About
Clinical Practice:
Dr Foo consults at PRACWA (Joondalup Private Hospital) and Attadale Rehabilitation Hospital. His interest is promoting long term health in elderly patients through treating physical frailty.
The goal of PRACWA is to help older adults lead healthier and more satisfying lives. Dr Foo is part of a network of key physicians located across the metropolitan area concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease in older people and the problems specific to ageing.
Major categories of impairment that appear in elderly people include immobility, frailty, loss of balance, incontinence, impaired intellect and memory issues, as well as impaired vision and hearing loss.
Background & Training:
Dr Foo graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1995, was Board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2000, and completed FRACP (Geriatric Medicine) in 2007. During his training, Dr Foo has worked in various hospitals in Perth, Western Australia, and at Texas Medical Centre in Houston, Texas.
