About
Dr A Alrubaie is gastroenterologist interested in general and therapeutic endoscopy and in small bowel endoscopy (including Capsule Endoscopy, Double balloon enteroscopy, Spiral enteroscopy) and has experience in small bowel diseases, Inflammatory bowel diseases, anaemias and bleeding , motility and functional disorders, GORD and liver disorders.
He had his advanced gastroenterology training in Westmead, Liverpool hospitals and postgraduate endoscopic training (particularly in double balloon enteroscopy) in Yamamoto Endoscopy unit at Jichi University in Tokyo-Japan.
Dr Alrubaie joined Bowral Day Surgery BDS in 2004 and moved to Southern Highland Private Hospital with rest of BDS gastroenterologists in 2010. He works as a VMO at Bankstown Hospital, Liverpool Day Surgery and Bankstown Day Surgery.
Dr Alrubaie is a senior lecturer at University of NSW, Educational Supervisor and Examiner at Royal Australasian College of Physicians and extensively involved in teaching of undergraduates, postgraduates and general practitioners.
