Dr Alex A Amini

Dr Amini is a consultant ophthalmologist, who has been in private practice in Mount Waverley since 2009, and has been offering regular eye surgery services locally at Waverley Private Hospital.

Since completing his Corneal Fellowship at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in 2006, Alex continues to work as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Surgical Ophthalmology Service at the RVEEH.

Dr Amini maintains continuing professional development with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO).

At Waverley Private Hospital, Dr Amini offers small incision, sutureless cataract surgery, which allows rapid visual rehabilitation and minimal disturbance to the eye. As many of Dr Amini’s patients are elderly, their health is closely monitored during surgical procedures, and they are only discharged from hospital when they are completely comfortable, alert and well.

 

Dr. Amini reviews all his patients post-surgery himself to ensure optimum results.
