Dr Alex Dorrington

Dr Alex Dorrington is a specialist gastroenterologist and hepatologist.

Gold Coast born and raised, he completed his medical training at the University of Queensland and gained specialist qualification with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2018. Alex undertook further training in inflammatory bowel disease at Concord Hospital in Sydney and Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.

Whilst Alex holds a particularly keen interest in inflammatory bowel disease, he also provides a comprehensive service for general gastroenterology and hepatology problems, as well as diagnostic and interventional upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy.
