Dr Ali Zad

Dr. Ali Zad completed his medical degree at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Iran, in 2002. He undertook Physician training in New South Wales.

His specialty fields are gastroenterology and hepatology which he trained for in Queensland and New South Wales. In 2018, Dr. Zad was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). He is also accredited by the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) to perform gastroscopy and colonoscopy.

Dr. Zad currently practices as a Gastroenterologist at Caboolture Private Hospital and North West Private Hospital. Dr. Zad has an interest in gastroenterological conditions, including inflammatory bowel disease, motility disorders, liver disease, irritable bowel syndrome, coeliac disease, bowel cancer screening, managing motility disorders and inflammatory bowel disease. Dr. Zad is actively involved in research, and enjoys teaching and mentoring medical students and junior doctors. He is fluent in both Persian and English.
