Dr Amy Fitzgerald has over a decade of experience in Western Australia in providing gynaecology care. She has advanced training in laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and colposcopy, with clinical expertise in minimally invasive surgery, fibroids, ovarian cysts, cervical abnormalities, vulval disease, prolapse, and heavy menstrual bleeding. Amy holds a public appointment at King Edward Memorial Hospital for Women, where she actively contributes to the education and mentorship of junior doctors and sees patients privately at Hollywood Private Hospital.

 

Background and Training

Dr Fitzgerald earned her medical degree from The University of Melbourne and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG). She completed her specialist training in gynaecology at King Edward Memorial Hospital, where she also undertook advanced training modules in Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy and Colposcopy.
