About
Dr Anand Venkataraman is a consultant cardiologist specialising in general cardiology, echocardiography, and structural heart disease. He trained in Perth and completed advanced fellowships in echocardiography at Fiona Stanley Hospital and the University of British Columbia, Vancouver.
Dr Venkataraman provides comprehensive general cardiology care, managing patients with chest pain, ischaemic heart disease, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and related conditions. Anand is experienced in transoesophageal and interventional echocardiography. He is actively involved in structural heart imaging, guiding procedures such as MitraClip (TEER), tricuspid interventions, ASD/PFO closure, and left atrial appendage occlusion. He remains active in teaching and advancing education in Echo.
