Dr Andrea Tomizawa

Dr Tomizawa Dermatologist has an interest in procedural dermatology, providing medical, procedural and laser dermatology services.  She completed her fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at The Skin Hospital in Darlinghurst and Westmead. She is a founding member of the NSW Rural Task Force to help improve access to dermatology services for rural and remote Australians, and provides a fly-in-fly-out service at Dubbo Dermatology.  She was former NSW Director of Training and continues regular teaching for dermatology trainees and general practitioners.  She is published in local and international peer-reviewed journals in general dermatology, cutaneous oncology and contact dermatitis, and is a reviewer for the Australasian Journal of Dermatology.  She is actively involved in medical research in cutaneous oncology, and is the principal investigator of her team’s study investigating the role of Reflectance Confocal Microscopy prior to Mohs surgery.  She is fluent in Mandarin and conversational in Italian and French.
