About
Dr Andrew Higgins is a consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He obtained his medical degree from Monash University in 2008 and his dental degree from James Cook University in 2015.
In 2016, Dr Higgins was accepted into the Queensland and Northern Territory oral and maxillofacial surgery training program. After four years working in multiple hospitals throughout Brisbane and the Northern Territory, he completed training in January 2020. He was awarded the Robert M Cook medal for the highest mark in the fellowship exam for Australia and New Zealand.
Dr Higgins has an interest in all oral and maxillofacial surgery including wisdom teeth surgery, dental implants, facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, TMJ and head and neck pathology.
