Dr Andrew Hughes

Dr Andrew Hughes graduated from the University of Queensland (MBBS) in 1995 and completed his Advanced General Surgical Training in 2005.  
In 2006 Andrew undertook a Fellowship in Renal Transplantation and Trauma surgery at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane and was admitted as a Fellow of RACS, General Surgery.
Andrew has been working as a Consultant General Surgeon at The Prince Charles Hospital since December 2007 and is active in his role as a Senior Lecturer in Surgery for the University of Queensland. 
Dr Hughes is consulting and operating at North West Private Hospital.

Andrew enjoys teaching his children to swim, maintaining a pool, medical missions, computers, kiting, squash, orchestral / jazz music, trumpet playing, making espresso and cellaring a modest wine collection
