About
Dr Patten was born in Charters Towers and raised in Brisbane. He is an Orthopaedic Surgeon that has undertaken extensive training both locally and in the UK. His practice has a strong focus on arthroplasty surgery of the hip and knee, including hip resurfacing for the treatment of arthritis. He has a further interest in sports medicine, ligament reconstruction, hip and knee arthroscopy and trauma surgery.
Dr Patten is committed to the treatment and ongoing management of patients with orthopaedic conditions. He currently is involved in general orthopaedic trauma management at St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital, Northwest Private Hospital and The Prince Charles Hospital.
Dr Patten is a visiting medical officer at the Prince Charles Hospital operating in hip, knee and trauma surgery.
He has been a medical officer with Queensland Health for over 25 years.
