DR ANGELA WONG

Dr Angela Wong is a Senior Staff Specialist at Royal North Shore Hospital, with special interests in Dermatopathology, Breast pathology and Cytopathology. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Sydney. Since Fellowship of the RCPA in 1999, she has worked at St Vincent's Pathology, Royal North Shore Hospital, Westmead Hospital and in private practice, before returning to Royal North Shore Hospital in 2003.

She has served on RCPA advisory committees for Anatomical Pathology and Cytopathology for many years. Current memberships include the Education Committee for the Australian Society of Cytology and International liaison committee for the American Society of Cytology. She has an interest in quality management, participating in RCPAQAP advisory committees for general diagnostic and breast modules, as well as laboratory accreditation assessments for NATA. She also reviews diagnostic and excision breast pathology for NSW Breastscreen Northern.

She is a Conjoint Lecturer of the Western Sydney University Medical School.
