Dr Angus Alexander

Dr Alexander is a Paediatric Surgeon with an interest in paediatric urology. During his training as an adult General Surgeon, he rotated through a busy paediatric burns unit. It was here that he discovered that he really enjoyed working with children. What appealed to him was their positive attitude, strength and resilience, while the technically exacting surgery they required appealed to the perfectionist in him.

As soon as he qualified, he applied for subspecialist training and became a Paediatric Surgeon in 2006. A fellowship in Paediatric Urology at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto followed in 2008. He has an uncommon combination of skills that gives him the unique ability to treat a wide variety of childhood surgical problems.
