Anitha Dani is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and has qualifications in child and adolescent psychiatry. She completed her psychiatry training in NSW, during which, she was granted a fellowship which allowed her to broaden her understanding of working with families and therapeutic modalities such as multisystem therapy. She has also had training in CBT and conversational model. Apart from working in the public and private sectors, she also works as a Visiting Medical Officer in an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organization. She is also an accredited supervisor for psychiatry trainees.
She enjoys collaborative care, involving family and other health professionals, and is committed to using evidence-based approaches.
