Dr Anitha Karunairajah

Dr Anitha Karunairajah is a General Surgeon, Fellowship trained in breast oncoplastic surgery. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and full member of BreastSurgANZ. Having completed her surgical training in Queensland, she completed a two year Fellowship in Breast and Oncoplastic Surgery. 

She currently holds a public consultant position at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and her role includes being a specialist Breast Oncoplastic Surgeon as well as an acute General Surgeon. She is actively involved in teaching, research and training of junior doctors. She has a special interest in Breast Conserving Surgery, prosthetic reconstruction following a mastectomy, mastopexies, reductions and symmetrisation.
