About
Dr Anne Capp completed training in Radiation Oncology at St Vincent’s and St George Hospitals in Sydney, after graduating from The University of Tasmania in 1987. She then spent two years as a clinical research fellow at the Royal Marsden Hospital UK, returning to Australia in 1997 to take up a Staff Specialist position at the Illawarra Cancer Care Centre, Wollongong.
In 2006 she moved to the Hunter region to take up a Senior Staff Specialist position at Calvary Mater Newcastle and from 2010 – 2012 was the Director of the Department of Radiation Oncology.
Dr Capp’s interests include treatment of urological malignancies, lymphoma, gastro-intestinal tumours, gynaecological malignancies and breast cancer. She is actively involved in clinical trial development and recruitment.
