Dr Anthony Athanasiov

Dr Anthony Athanasiov is an Orthopaedic Surgeon, with an interest in spinal surgery, who consults and operates at Greenslopes Private Hospital. His practice encompasses adult spinal conditions, including degenerative problems, scoliosis, kyphosis, spondylolisthesis, and tumours as well as management of back and neck pain; paediatric spinal conditions, such as scoliosis and kyphosis; degenerative conditions in the lower limbs, including joint replacement; Acute injuries and fracture treatment.

 After graduating from medical school, Dr Athanasiov completed rotations on the Queensland Health rural scholarship scheme and worked at many of the major hospitals around the state. He then completed a fellowship in spinal surgery in London, where he trained in complex spinal surgery for both adult and paediatric patients.
