Dr Anuj Bohra

Dr Anuj Bohra is a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist. He completed medical school through the University of New England and subsequently completed postgraduate training at Eastern and Monash Health specialising in Gastroenterology.

He then undertook an advanced intestinal ultrasound fellowship at the Alfred Hospital. Through acquiring this skill he has developed and leads and intestinal
ultrasound service at Northern Health and is actively involved in the training of Gastroenterologists both in intestinal ultrasound and clinical Gastroenterology. Though his appointment at Mitcham Private Hospital, Anuj can provide endoscopy access and care for both insured and uninsured patients.

Anuj combines his clinical work with translational research. He received an Australian Government Research Training Program for his PhD which was completed through Monash University titled “Optimising the quality and utility of non-invasive methods of disease assessment of Inflammatory Bowel Disease”. He has presented and published his research work at national conferences and in international gastroenterology journals.
