About
Dr Arshad Khan is a Cardiologist with interests in the management of heart failure, hypertension, primary and secondary prevention of coronary artery disease, arrhythmias and perioperative cardiovascular assessment.
He holds a consultant VMO position at Lake Macquarie Private Hospital. Arshad trained at John Hunter Hospital Newcastle Australia and Johns Hopkins University Hospital Baltimore USA (3rd best hospital in USA – USNews 2018).
He performs transthoracic and stress echocardiography, exercise stress test, coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention and stenting.
Arshad is a keen researcher and is a strong believer in the role of research in the advancement of cardiovascular medicine.
His research interests include left ventricular remodelling, management of coronary artery disease and ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction and Oncocardiology
