About
Dr Bassem Gerges (Bas) understands the importance of providing high level care in a supportive environment. He has a passion for providing the latest medical and minimally invasive gynaecological surgery with quality, obstetric care to support women throughout their pregnancy.
He holds the highest level of accreditation (RANZCOG/AGES Level 6) in Advanced Laparoscopic Gynaecological Surgery in Australia.
To complement his specialist training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Bas has also completed an additional fellowship in Gynaecological and Endometriosis Ultrasound and a two-year fellowship in Advanced Gynaecological Surgery, accredited with the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy & Surgery Society (AGES). This allows him to provide women with holistic care. He continues to publish and present in both national and international conferences. Bas’ goal is to provide individualized obstetric care and the latest gynaecological treatments.
