Dr Benjamin Woolven

Dr Benjamin Woolven is a General Surgeon who has a special interest in Bariatric - Obesity Surgery.  His clinical interests include Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery, Bariatric Surgery (Gastric Bypass, Sleeve Gastrectomy and Adjustable Band), Laparoscopic Surgery, Gallbladder Surgery and Hernia Surgery.
Dr Woolven attended Adelaide and Flinders Universities and trained in General Surgery obtaining Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2010. Dr Woolven then obtained Fellowship in Upper Gastrointestinal and Bariatric Surgery at St George Hospital in Sydney. He is a faculty member of the College of Surgeons Academy of Surgical Educators.
Dr Woolven consults and operates in Tamworth at Tamara Private Hospital.
