Dr Bob Jang

Dr Jang is an Orthopaedic surgeon. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association.  He attended Fort Street High School in Petersham before completing his Bachelor of Medicine degree at Newcastle University. He has worked in hospitals all over Australia including his formal orthopaedic training in Perth.  

Dr Jang is currently completing his Advanced upper limb fellowship with Dr Trantalis and Dr Sungaran. He is also providing a service to Bankstown-Lidcombe hospital for upper limb surgery and general orthopaedic trauma including lower limb injuries.

Dr Jang is highly trained in general orthopaedics including high energy trauma, sports orthopaedics and joint arthroplasty.  The latest techniques and an evidence based approach is utilised by Dr Jang who has published in multiple peer reviewed journal articles and presented at state/national and international meetings. Dr Jang also enjoys teaching and has been awarded multiple awards for teaching excellence.
