About
Dr Brad Gilpin is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in surgery of the Hand and Upper Limb, including microsurgery, arthroscopy and joint replacement. Dr Gilpin graduated with a MBBS degree (Hons) from the University of Queensland in 2012.
He undertook his Orthopaedic training in Queensland and obtained his fellowship from the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in Orthopaedic Surgery (Australian Orthopaedic Association) in 2022. He undertook further sub-speciality training in hand surgery through the Australia Hand Surgery Society Post-Fellowship education and training program. During this time, he maintained an upper limb fellow position at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Dr Gilpin is interested in conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder including management of bone and soft tissue trauma of the upper limb. He continues to participate in research and teaching through his public and private hospital appointments.
