Dr Brian McMillan

Dr McMillan, is a Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and a partner of Southern Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Brian grew up locally on the Mornington Peninsula. He studied Dentistry at the University of Melbourne and was in private Dental practice for seven years in Blairgowrie and Sorrento. He moved to the U.K and was Senior House Officer in Oral Surgery at several large teaching hospitals and returned to Australia in 1992 to study Medicine and OMFS training at the University of Adelaide. He completed his Masters Degree and clinical OMFS training in
1999 and returned to the Mornington Peninsula to undertake his Intern year at Frankston Hospital. Brian has been in Private OMFS practice since 2000. He is Consultant OMFS at Southern Health (Monash) and has been an integral part of the Southern Health team undertaking annual volunteer cleft lip and palate surgery in Vietnam. Brian always strives to provide excellent patient management, in a caring environment, where communication with the patient and the referring doctor
