Background & training:
Dr Bridget Jeffery graduated from the University of Cape Town in 1990 with a MBChB and a FCOG, MMed (O&G) from the University of Pretoria. In 2000 Bridget completed a fellowship in Foetal Medicine at the Bristol University in the United Kingdom and spent several years as the University of Pretoria Associate Professor in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G) department. She was also the clinical lead for the Foetal Medical Unit and operated a part time private practice in foetal medicine. Bridget migrated to Australia in 2007 and completed a DDU and spent five years at King Edward Memorial Hospital working in high risk obstetrics and ultrasound.
