About

A/Prof Caitlin Keighley is a microbiologist and infectious diseases physician. She is a contributor to the Wollongong Antimicrobial Resistance Research Alliance (WARRA) and has previously developed a PCR for identification of a carbapenemase in resistant bacteria, authored over 50 publications, and is interested in trends in antimicrobial resistance, mycology, infections in obstetrics and the immunocompromised host. Her input on antimicrobial stewardship and infection control will be welcomed to Nowra Private Hospital.

A/Prof Keighley provides outpatient Infectious Diseases consultation in Denison St, Wollongong. She is also able to provide video and phone advice.

A/Prof Keighley’s experience provides valuable expertise in the area of Microbiology and Infectious Disease within the region.
