Dr Cameron Cooke

Dr Cooke has been working in private practice in Brisbane for over ten years. After completing his orthopaedic training, he spent two years working in his areas of subspecialty interests in Sydney, Vancouver and Sheffield.

Dr Cooke set up his private practice in 2005 at the North West Private Hospital, Ramsay Place Suites, Mater Private Clinic, South Brisbane and Mater Redlands Clinic.  Dr Cooke established an “Urgent Hip, Knee & Lower limb Trauma Clinic which he operates on Monday evenings.

Along with his private practice he is the Director of Orthopaedics at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.  In this role, he has established a hip fracture service and maintains his interest in high energy trauma and complex hip and knee replacement surgeries. He regularly lectures both in Australia and overseas.

Dr Cooke sees DVA and Workcover patients and is a certified Independent Medical Examiner.
