About
Dr Caroline Lum is a medical oncologist who completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with Honours at the University of Melbourne in 2012.
Dr Lum undertook Basic Physician Training at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne, before completing Advanced Training in Medical Oncology across Border Medical Oncology, the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre, and Monash Health.
While at Monash Health, she also completed two years as a Clinical Trials Fellow, with research involvement across gastrointestinal, lung and breast cancers.
Prior to studying medicine, Dr Lum completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy with Honours at Charles Sturt University.
Dr Lum has particular clinical interests in gastrointestinal and lung malignancies and is currently undertaking a PhD through Monash University. Her research is focused on drug resistance and optimal treatment strategies in BRAF-mutant colorectal cancer, integrating clinical research with patient care.
